Our landscaping business has humble beginnings, sprouting from the vision and determination. What began as a venture born out of necessity transformed into a passion for landscaping and a genuine love for the land.

Years later, this commitment has not waned; in fact, it has deepened. Our passion for the land extends beyond the business aspect—it reflects a belief in the intrinsic value of working with the land and being immersed in the outdoors. 

We firmly believe that being outdoors contributes to physical and mental well-being, and we are dedicated to creating outdoor spaces that enhance the quality of life for our employees and our clients.

I’ve been a resident of Georgia for almost 30 years. I am the CEO and Owner of Diligent Hands Landscaping & Property Preservation LLC, a family-run business operated with my four children, ages 35–21. 

My eldest and youngest son and I work in the field together and handle sales, with my daughters joining us on larger projects. My eldest daughter manages PR and accounting, and my youngest daughter oversees marketing and customer support.

Years ago, I found myself a single mom with four children and bills to pay. One day, I drove past a vacant property with overgrown grass and thought, “I can cut that. I can clean this up and earn something.” I called the realtor on the sign, and not only did she say yes—she gave me several more properties.

With one lawnmower and one weed eater loaded into my minivan, I asked my oldest son to come help. That small start sustained me long enough to get back on my feet. From there, I opened Kidz First Network, a home daycare, and kept building from the ground up.

Today, we’re working on several community-centered ventures, serving both locally and beyond. I’m grateful that God has given me a servant’s heart and gifted my hands to do meaningful work. He kept me, provided for me, and guided me. Every idea, every opportunity, and every open door is from Him.

I strive to use what He’s given me for good—to bring honor to His name, to show others His goodness, and to remind people that He is a promise keeper, provider, and protector. His grace and mercy have carried me, and for that, I am forever thankful.
